Dean V. Martin

Dean is the President of The Pacific Companies’ market-rate multifamily housing division, Pacific Partners Residential, and the managing member of Zion Residential. Dean brings a wide range of expertise in nearly every facet of market-rate apartment development. Dean joined The Pacific Companies in January 2013 after 14 years with Legacy Partners Residential at its headquarters in Foster City, CA. There he served in several roles, leading Acquisitions for Development, Investments, and Dispositions, as the Director for the Northern California Region, as well as, heading acquisitions for the Mountain and Mid-Atlantic Regions for KBS Legacy Partners Apartment REIT. His work included the development, acquisitions, and dispositions of over 3,700 units of institutional-grade apartments in the San Francisco Bay area and Maryland regions, totaling over $850 million in transactions.

Dean received his M.B.A. degree from the Isenberg School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and holds a B.S. from San Jose State University in Business-Finance with a minor in Economics.
